Vocational Stream
Description
The energy generated needs to be controlled, measured and transforms in electrical signals to be closely monitored to get the optimum energy benefits. This course is designed to enrich the student with depth knowledge of process parameters (pressure, temperature, flow, levels etc), metering of electrical power, its control and remote monitoring with SCADA, plc with concentration on the below highlighted topics. Throughout the course, students will learn how to install, test, calibrate and maintain instruments that measure, indicate and control variables such as pressure, flow, level, density, temperature, force, vibration and chemical composition.
